Tickets available for annual Celebraciones de la Gente raffle

Nuestra Raices to hold Raffle on Oct. 24

Tickets ($10 each) are now available for the annual Celebraciones de la Gente raffle presented by Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces.

The raffle will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26 during the 11th annual Celebraciones de la Gente / Día de los Muertos festival at the Museum of Northern Arizona.

You do not need to be present to win.

Proceeds benefit annual cultural programs presented by Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces.

Flagstaff celebrates 2014 Armed Forces Day Parade

AFP01FLAGSTAFF — Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces, Ballet Folklorico de Colores – Flagstaff, classic car owners and other supporters of active duty military and veterans  joined in supporting Armed Forces Day Parade, held Saturday, May 17, 2014 in downtown Flagstaff, AZ.

The theme of this year’s event was “Remembering Fallen Warriors.”

Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces holds 2012 Hispanic Pioneer Potluck/Picnic

Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces celebrated its annual Pioneer Potluck/Picnic on Aug. 11, 2012 at Fort Tuthill at the Coconino County Fairgrounds.
The event featured food, music, games for the children including a piñata and a display of historic photos and information about the Hispanic pioneers of Flagstaff and Northern Arizona.
