Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces presented its Hispanic veterans information table at Wheeler Park. Flagstaff celebrated Armed Forces Day on May 18, 2013 with a parade in downtown Flagstaff, the Northern Arizona Veterans Stand Down at American Legion Post 3 and the Armed Forces Day Military & Veterans Expo at Wheeler Park. Click on the image to see a slideshow from the celebration. Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces holds 2012 Hispanic Pioneer Potluck/Picnic

Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces celebrated its annual Pioneer Potluck/Picnic on Aug. 11, 2012 at Fort Tuthill at the Coconino County Fairgrounds.
The event featured food, music, games for the children including a piñata and a display of historic photos and information about the Hispanic pioneers of Flagstaff and Northern Arizona.

Nuestras Raíces, Hispanic veterans, community groups take part in 2012 Armed Forces Day Parade

Members of Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces and other community members took part in the annual Armed Forces Day Parade held May 19, 2012 in downtown Flagstaff. Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces, which celebrates Hispanic culture in Northern Arizona, was joined by Ballet Folklorico de Colores in Flagstaff, Hispanic veterans and other community supporters during the parade. As part of the parade, Nuestras Raíces decorated a car featuring photos and information about Latino veterans from Flagstaff and Coconino County.
